What Is RSS?
RSS means Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary. The RSS is a xml format that streams information aka "feed" used to publish snippets of information such as blogs, news, audio and media. A RSS reader is needed to contain the RSS subscription. A user can grab the rss feed from any site that offers subscription. The user clicks on the RSS icon which prompts a subscription panel where the user can add their email address. The icon automatically links into the users RSS reader. The user will be supplied with updated information from the RSS site they had chosen.

Universal selector vs. CSS Reset
The selectors are used to overwrite the default element settings bulit in the browser. This selector gives the designer control over how the site will be presented across different browers without complication from the default settings. I havent used either to comment on the difference, but it seems the unversal selector has more control on older browers uuch as interent explorer whereas the Rss Reset seems to be a foreign language on the new browers such as firefox.

2 page report on C.R.A.P design./Wireframe for the bike site, 3 different pages.
Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, Proximity = CRAP is a format or idea that many web/print or artist use in determining how to layout their product.
- Contrast Keeping graphics/texts/images/color on the other extreme. You dont want a web page or any piece to be too similar or you will not be able to differeate the difference. For example, if one piece is light, you want to make a contrast of having the piece on the page slightly darker. For example, figure 1: the color of the background verses the color of the gorilla. Also, the contrast from the button, heading font tag and the color scheme of site.
- Repetition Keeping things consistent by repeating graphics/chose of fonts, color scheme, pull quotes...throughout site. Gives the web site a uniform look and feel as well keeping user from getting overwhelmed and distracted. For example on figure 1: The bananas are repeated as bullets and the font list are using the same repeated fonts.
- Alignment Making sure things are align--no zigzags. Figure 1: The alignment of the text is straight down, align left--which is matched up with the buttons.
- Proximity Space inbetween items are balanced on both ends, text, top and bottom. Gives the page a balance look. Figure 1: the area inbetween the text is even weight as well as the button. The space from the left of the monkey is even from the right.
